Bagong Bayani Magazine
Call it destiny, call it fate. That’s how I got this project. A referral from someone I know, who know’s somebody, who knows somebody… And at that time I was also looking for a way to give back to the Filipino community. Aside from getting Filipino sub-contractors and suppliers, it feels great ‘giving back’ by working on a publication that celebrates the life and triumphs of OFWs (Overseas Filipinos Workers) working/living abroad. The magazine is published monthly, currently has a circulation of 10,000 copies (at the time of this post) and is distributed for free.
So far I’ve worked on the first three issues and several of its advertisements. There’s still a lot of room for improvements, but we’re getting there. I do hope that everything turns out great for the magazine (and the publisher) because things like these are good and morally uplifting for the Filipino community in Singapore and in other parts of the world.

Bucket List #12: Experience Flying
Cowabunga! (October 5, 2017) …was probably the last word in my mind as I struggle to express the unholy mix of sheer excitement and overwhelming horror while I ‘fly’ down across Skyranch Tagaytay’s zipline...
