Do you need help in choosing fonts for your next project?

A few days ago I was sifting through my projects folder, looking for stuff I could showcase in my portfolio. What I noticed was, for the projects I’ve worked on in the last three months, I have been subconsciously having an affair with a specific typeface.

Now, a lot of designers would agree that it is quite normal for us to have a bias for a specific font family(e.g. Helvetica). Most designers, though only a few would admit it, find it quite daunting to pick that perfect font to use for the next project. There are times when even the best of us gets lured to the old designer adage “When in doubt, use Helvetica.”

Now this graphic designer, Julian Hansen, has made the decision-making process a lot less painful with a beautiful infograph on choosing a typeface for your next project:
