Of PowerPoint presentations and imagining hamburgers…
I recently had the blissful opportunity to sit down at a presentation about proper documentation of a project lifecycle. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be. The speaker didn’t go the usual read-through-the-slides route. But instead zipped through most of the slides, focusing only on the points that she wanted to give emphasis on. I personally think that method is really effective, specially with people like me who has the attention span of a goldfish.
Everything was going great with the presentation until the presenter tried to illustrate the documentation process by using an analogy. She said “Think of it as a sandwich…”
…and that’s where she lost me…
I spent the next forty-five minutes thinking of a sandwich.
