When you start out as a freelancer, you need to hustle, and in this economy, you need to be able to deliver more than just a creative idea.
In this webcast, freelance creative director/copywriter Robin Gelfenbien will offer practical tips on breaking into the world of advertising as a freelancer. She’ll cover everything from creative resources for finding work to getting the gig. Robin will also share simple but critical steps you need to take to launch, build, and maintain a successful freelance career. You’ll walk away with the tools you need to find new business, grow client relationships, and build a solid portfolio that will generate more work for you. In addition, Robin will answer questions from webcast attendees.
Robin Gelfenbien has worked on marketing and advertising projects for clients such as the Food Network, Vera Wang, Motorola, TVGuide.com, Kohl’s, Ogilvy, and McCann Worldgroup. She recently collaborated on Nikon’s award-winning website, Picturetown, which garnered a Cannes Lion among other awards. She also created a series of webisodes for Bertolli, developed online video profiles for Nikon, and helped win the new business pitches for Raisinets and Wonka’s digital advertising work.
